Good to know info

If you’re interested in an appointment, please fill out the request an appointment form on the website. You will receive an email back within 24-48 hours along with the availability and deposit information. Please be as timely as possible with your responses as availability changes on the daily.

In order to book you will need to leave a deposit. Deposits start at $100 per appointment depending upon design + hours booked. 

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!

Deposits will also be voided if —

•You reschedule/cancel less than 72 hours before the appointment 

•You no call/no show 

•You cancel completely 

•There’s a complete alteration to the design decided upon 

•If you want to reschedule your appointment but don’t contact us for 14+ days after the initial reschedule contact 

•If you show up to the appointment impaired, without proper ID, or 15+ minutes late. 

Deposits from properly rescheduled appointments can be transferred to 1 new date. If that new date needs to be rescheduled again, the transferred deposit will become void and a new deposit will be needed to rebook.

Deposits are required to book. Your 

appointment is NOT solidified or in the schedule until a deposit is received, even if a specific date has been discussed!

Deposits can be made via Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal, Zelle or in cash in person.

Once a deposit is submitted your 

appointment is fully booked! 

We will most likely not need to contact you again if you’ve given us all the info needed.

Drawings are never shown before your appointment. Designs will be gone over when you show up to the studio for your appointment!

At Lady Serpentine we use premium second-skin aftercare such as Recovery Derm Shield and Saniderm. The cost of this premium aftercare, as well as Vasocaine numbing spray, is included in your tattoo! 

Please follow these instructions for aftercare. All this info has also been emailed to you after you filled out your contract.

• Leave your second-skin wrap on for at least 3 days, no more than 6 days. During this time your tattoo is going to weep and the bandage is going to fill up with bodily fluid called plasma. This plasma will also mix with excess pigment and create a murky, dark colored fluid that will most likely cover your tattoo. This is completely normal so don’t freak out. Your bandage is breathable and waterproof so there is no need to worry about getting it wet during showers.
• When touching your healing tattoo ALWAYS make sure your hands are clean. Never let other people touch your healing tattoo. 
• When it’s time to take off the Saniderm, try to do so while in the shower. Place your tattoo under luke-warm water and slowly remove the bandage. Some dead skin may or may not come off on the back of the bandage so don’t be alarmed if you see this. In my experience removing in the shower causes minimal pain. Try to avoid taking your bandage off dry. Immediately wash your tattoo with liquid anti-bacterial soap. Dial Gold is what I personally use and recommend. DO NOT USE ANY SCENTED SOAPS. NEVER use a rag or a loofa to exfoliate your tattoo while it’s healing. 
• Rinse off your tattoo and let it air dry. Do NOT use a towel as it may harbor bacteria. 
• Apply a very thin layer of lotion to your tattoo. Do NOT use anything scented. I use and recommend unscented brands such as Jergens, Lubriderm or Aveno. NEVER use any oils, anti-itch creams, healing creams or ointments such as aquaphor, neosporin, tattoo goo, A/D, etc. The Saniderm removes the need to use any ointments.
• Repeat the washing and lotion steps twice a day until your tattoo is healed.
• NEVER re-bandage or wrap your tattoo once the Saniderm is removed!
• The only time you should take the Saniderm off before the 3-6 days is up is if you either have a negative reaction to the bandage or if it partially comes off and exposes the tattoo. If you think you’re having a reaction please reach out to me and I will advise you on the next step. 
• Your tattoo may still peel/flake, much like a sunburn, and also itch. Be sure to not pick at your tattoo, or scratch at it. Doing so will take out the ink and ruin the tattoo!
• For the next two weeks you need to avoid submerging it in water, take showers, no baths. Also avoid sun exposure for the next two weeks.
• You will also want to not do any working out or gyms for a few days as sweat and bacteria will not be beneficial to your healing processes.

REMEMBER, THIS IS YOUR INVESTMENT. IT IS UP TO YOU ONCE YOU LEAVE THE STUDIO TO MAKE SURE YOU CARE FOR YOUR TATTOO PROPERLY AND AS INSTRUCTED. NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS WILL VOID ANY GUARANTEE ON YOUR TATTOO. AS ALWAYS IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS DON’T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH US!!
